What Is Rush?

Rush is the beautiful time of the year where Fraternities and Sororities seek students with traits and characteristics deemed suitable for admittance. For us this means having a strong drive, a professional countenance and a desire and willingness to develop your virtues to achieve excellence. Interested students can get to know the brothers at any of our rush events which usually take place on or around campus. This is the best time to ask detailed questions and get a better picture of what our fraternity is really like.

Networking

See what it feels like to have connections across many different fields and professions. Our fraternity is considerably diverse because we accept students of all majors and career paths. We ask only that you be business-minded.

Influence

You will often hear people say, “People are products of their environment” or “You become who you hang out with.” We stand strongly by these beliefs and assert that a positive influence is the greatest of all gifts to be obtained from a fraternity. Brothers of AKPsi constantly push each other to reach new heights and grow to surpass their limits.

Involvement

Ever wonder what employers are most interested in when they look to hire students right out of college? You guessed it: involvement. Involvement remains one of the key factors in employers’ hiring decisions and a fraternity dedicated to business is something you can be proud of on your resume.
