Who You’re Donating To

Alpha Kappa Psi was founded in 1904. The Nu Chi Chapter at the University of Central Florida was established in 1991. Since then our brothers have consistently made an effort to leave a mark on our university. The brothers of the Nu Chi Chapter are involved in many different organizations on campus. We currently have many brothers actively involved in SGA including two senators, and a judicial advisor. We also have four brothers on the President’s Leadership Council, which is considered one of the most prestigious opportunities at UCF. See the About page to learn more about Alpha Kappa Psi.

What We’re Involved In

  • Planning and participating in professional activities that give members a hands on idea of how the business world works.
  • Hosting Alumni reunions where professional Alpha Kappa Psi Alumni can interact with and positively influence active brothers.
  • Brotherhood socials and team building exercises that promote unity and form close bonds.
  • National fraternity conferences where members attend lectures on professionalism and leadership.
  • Hosting resume and career building workshops where alumni partner with active members to teach students what employers look for in a resume and what to expect in an interview.
  • Hosting university wide professional development events that positively affect students across all different majors.

“Before joining Alpha Kappa Psi, I was your typical college student going to work, home and school. I took up a major that I thought was interesting to me, not really knowing what I wanted to do with it. I joined AKPsi to get a clue and become more professional in order to prepare myself for “The Real World” My major was Psychology and the only thing that I knew was that I didn’t want to be a Psychologist and I wanted to work with kids and help people. Through AKPsi, I was able to attend corporate tours and speakers to gain an insight to what other opportunities were out there for a Psychology major.
